Dhamaka Full Movie Review | Cast, Plot, Trailer | Everything
Before we get into the whole plotline and reviews of the new and blasting Bollywood movie, Dhamaka. Dhamaka is a 2021 release Bollywood film, written and directed by Ram Madhavani under his brand Ram Madhavani Films. The lead star casts of the movie are Kartik Aryan, Mrunal Thakur and Amruta Subash. It’s an action thriller movie produced by Ronnie Screwala.
Dhamaka Movie Explained:
The story starts with Kartik Aryan as Arjun Pathak and Mrunal Thakur as Saumya Mehra Pathak, who are both journalists. The Mehra couple are seen to be very content with their marriage, but in the present day are struggling to keep up with their relationship and are on the brink of divorce.
The main character then is delegated to a jockey from a full-time journalist, he one day receives a call from someone named Raghubeer Mhata about setting a bomb blast at the Sea Link in Mumbai. Arjun Pathak being a common person gets angry thinking it’s a prank. But turns out the blast actually takes place, leaving Arjun speechless and stumped. He thinks of calling the police but backs out releasing the potential harm accidentally done by him, therefore he decides to call his boss Ankita Malaskar. He offers her the news in return for his prime position back, his boss immediately agrees and starts broadcasting it in the room. Later Raghubeer reveals he destroyed the Sea Link because he helped in the construction but a few of his friends fell in the ocean and lost their lives. Raghubeer request to call the minister and ask him to apologize. Later Arjun releases that he planted a bomb in his earpiece, so he asks Ankita to not release it but she keeps going for the sake of ratings. He is also worried as Ankita has sent Saumya to sea link to report some news.
Later in the movie, a rival channel accuses Arjun to have to take a bribe in order to keep the news a secret, which is actually a strategy played by Ankita as Arjun did not cooperate with her. Raghubeer is angry that Arjun took a bribe and that too for the story that three of his colleagues had been killed during Sea Link repair.
One of the tragic scenes of the movie is when Saumya asks Raghubeer to let all the women and children go, and he agrees.
After this scene, Arjun and Saumya are seen to connect with each other again, but right then another blast occurs. So Arjun requests the nearby boats to help the people on the bridge. Meanwhile, the counter-terrorism squad tells Arjun that they have found Raghubeer but the caller tells Arjun that he’ll blow the building as well. Unable to contact the squad in the building, the building blasts killing the people inside.
Coming to the climax of the movie, the rival channel breaks it that Raghubeer was actually dead which meant the caller’s identity was unknown. Arjun finally cracks the case and finds out the person behind all this is his own son Anand, who was an explosive expert. The rival channel also exposes that he worked with his son. And out of all the things, Arjun receives news of Saumya’s death and is completely devastated. As the forces come to arrest Arjun, he blasts the bomb, destroying the building and himself.

Dhamaka Movie Review:
Dhamaka was rated a complete 7.5/ 10 with 38% of rotten tomatoes, which go to see is not a bad thing. The movie has obviously a mixed review, but most of them move towards the positive end.
