The latest season follows some dark adventurous side that was liked by some and criticized by some. Reviews say that it’s not the worst marvel animation but it is nothing special. They also did not understand why did Marvel have to make their animation even darker than what it was, however, the designs are pretty good for this show and most of the background is very detailed. All the Marvel fans however will continue watching but there are some great other options available in the Marvel Studios line.

Plotline
Again, since the new holiday special will launch during this year’s holiday season, there is no synopsis or the base of plotline given. But since it’s a part of the Guardians of the Galaxy, the plotline will revolve around the main characters as a continuation of the previous movie, or a completely new baseline. In the final season, the Guardians of the Galaxy go on the run when they are framed by the collector, who has Howard the Duck set them up for the theft of a Kree item after they broke some items in their last encounter at his special prison which leads to them evading the Kree accuser.
After Howard the Duck admitted being threatened, Phyla-Vell works with the Guardians of the Galaxy to save Hala and defeat Collector who gets away after setting his ship to self-destruct. After traversing through the Black Vortex, the Guardians of the Galaxy discover that the Asgardians’ old enemies the Darkhawks have been replacing Nova Prime and members of the Galactic Council. Using the reforged sword, the Guardians of the Galaxy with the aid of Thanos and Loki defeat Serpent and save the galaxy.
