Demon Slayer has swiftly established itself as one of the most popular anime series presently airing. Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, the company’s most recent film, became the highest-earning film of 2020, grossing $503 million worldwide. Fans have been waiting for news of a second season with bated breath. They now have a release date for Demon Slayer Season 2 as well as information on where they may view it.
‘Demon Slayer’ Season 2 covers the Manga’s Entertainment District arc:
The Entertainment District Arc from Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga will be tackled in Demon Slayer Season 2, which will follow the Mugen Train Arc covered in the current film. Demon Slayer: Mugen Train will also be re-adapted, according to Crunchyroll’s statement. “An original episode, 70 new scenes, new music tracks, new open and ending animation, episode previews, and new theme songs” will be included in the new Mugen Train Arc.

Demon Slayer’s season 2 premiere date was revealed on September 25. On December 5, at the end of the Fall 2021 anime season, the Entertainment District Arc will begin. The first episode of the arc, which will be available to watch on Crunchyroll and Funimation, will be an hour-long episode that will add a new demon into the mix. The new antagonist will be voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro, while Aimer will play the first episode’s theme songs.
This comes after the Mugen Train Arc’s release on Crunchyroll and Funimation on October 10. The new version of the arc will last seven episodes and will kick off the anime’s next chapter.
Fans have waited more than 2 years for the second season:
The release date for Demon Slayer Season 2 comes more than two years after the anime’s premiere in April 2019. The first season focused on the Unwavering Resolve Arc of the manga, which saw Tanjiro, the main character, join the Demon Slayer Corps. Tanjiro spends the first season of the show preparing to kill demons while also looking for a solution for his sister. During the first episode of the anime, Nezuko is transformed into a demon, prompting her brother to embark on a quest to save her.
That catches the notice of Muzan Kibutsuji, the show’s Big Bad, who will almost certainly be behind whatever challenges Tanjiro confronts in season 2. It remains to be seen whether he will succeed in beating the anime’s major villain. The same can be said about reverting Nezuko to human form.
When Demon Slayer Season 2 has begun, fans will have a better notion of what to expect. Fortunately, fresh content will be available soon – and perhaps, it will be worth the wait.
