The challenge has over 1.2 million views on TikTok and over 108 million views on the hashtag #crybabychallenge, which tells how big the trend is on there. When the singer shared her own clips of dancing to this song, the post received over 2.5 million views.
The Cry Baby challenge is set on the song of Megan Thee stallion featuring DaBaby, who is an American rapper. The singer and rapper have collaborated a few times in the past, which have also been a hit. This is their third collaboration, for Megan Thee Stallion’s album Good News. The music video for this song was released in February 2021, which led to this challenge, as her fans were fascinated with her new dance moves. Since the release of the music video, it has received over 48 million views on Youtube to date.
