King Arthur: Legend of the Sword Trailer & Analysis

Guy Ritchie's $102 million adaptation of the Arthurian Legend features Charlie Hunnam as the titular character and Jude Law as his adversary Vortigern. Katie McGrath, Eric Bana, Aidan Gillen and Djimon Hounsou also feature. Judging from the trailer it looks worryingly CGI-orientated and more likely to join other historical/mythical crapfests like the 2016 Ben-Hur and Gods of Egypt than to be mentioned in the same breath as John Boorman's Excalibur (1981). Could be wrong however; Guy Ritchie's British heritage might (just might) mean that he's actually done some homework.

Find out when it's released on 12th May 2017 (UK).
