William Castle at Columbia Volume One Blu Ray (Indicator)

The Tingler, 13 Ghosts, Homicidal and Mr. Sardonicus are brought together in this superbly assembled boxed set. While these films aren't exactly high art, Castle's larger-than-life personality makes them entertaining in their own peculiar ways.

Rawhead Rex (1986) Clive Barker adaptation Blu Ray (Arrow)

This George Pavlou-directed adaptation of a short story from Barker's Books of Blood anthology is an inept folk-horror but can be enjoyable when taken as a cheesy monster-on-the-loose flick. The rubbery creature is laughable and the performances are very uneven.

The Super Inframan (1975) Blu Ray (88 Films)

This Shaw Brothers-produced homage to the Japanese tokusatsu superhero subgenre makes up for its rubbery monsters and lack of characterisation with well-staged fights and tonnes of imagination.

Super Inframan can handle himself in a fight!

The Wonderful Worlds of Ray Harryhausen, Volume 2: 1961-1964 (Indicator)

Another fine box set covering the Dynamation pioneer, featuring Mysterious Island, Jason and the Argonauts and First Men in the Moon - albeit with one slight irk.
